From 1851 to 1861, Palmer resided at 6 Douro Place in the fashionable borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This area of London has long been associated with the arts, with many notable artists, writers, and musicians making their homes here over the centuries. During his time at this address, Palmer continued to create beautiful works of art that captured the essence of the English countryside.
