She served as the first female President of the Faculty of Homeopathy from 1949 to 1952 and was appointed as homeopathic physician to Queen Elizabeth II in 1968, a testament to her skill and reputation.

Dr. Blackie lived and practiced at 18 Thurloe Street from 1929 until her retirement in 1980, treating countless patients and earning a loyal following.
