Sibelius is best known for his seven symphonies, which are considered masterpieces of the genre. His distinctive style, characterized by rich harmonies, expressive melodies, and a deep connection to the natural world, helped to establish him as a leading figure in the Romantic and early modern classical music movements. Some of his most famous works include “Finlandia,” “Valse Triste,” and “The Swan of Tuonela.”

In 1909, Sibelius spent time living at 15 Gloucester Walk in the Kensington area of London. This period marked a significant point in his career, as he was gaining international recognition for his compositions.
